The motto of Aquarius, “I know,” and its keyword imagination speak to what’s taking place in this card. The woman looks up toward the illuminated window, knowing and acknowledging her higher purpose and aware of the need for coalescence. Aquarius is an unconventional thinker, and the spectrum of the rainbow reflects the myriad of creative ways in which it’s possible to manifest higher purpose. Uranus, the ruling planet of Aquarius, encourages us to do the unusual and unpredictable.
Another minor planetary association that could be considered is Jupiter, the ruler of expansion and positivity; however, Jupiter rules Sagittarius, a fire sign, and, to me, this card is leaning more toward mental activity rather than physical activity. Despite this, consider looking for Jupiter and its aspects in your natal chart to see what impact it might have on your higher aspirations. Numerically speaking, this card is a 7 (16 / 1+6=7), indicating that an investment in some form of seeking, searching, thinking or intellectual exploration should be made or is already underway. With regard to the new moon, this card is inviting us to think creatively about how we can reach new horizons, improve ourselves, find our higher purpose, and turn isolation into motivation. Look at the fire-ruled houses of your natal chart (1st - body, 5th - soul, and 9th - spirit, mind) which are known as the life or personal houses. The planets and their aspects in these houses can indicate how to leverage the physical action of the element of fire in order to act upon the ideas for manifestation that the air sign of this card inspires us to consider.
