It facilitates work on any project and makes sense of any problem as long as all possible details have been uncovered. Virgo is an earth sign, and therefore typically does well managing resources. It represents areas in which we are not necessarily coming up with the bright ideas, but we’re instead tasked with executing them, notably with an emphasis on perfection. Virgo is the virgin—pure and good, but also somewhat naive. It represents areas in our lives where we feel that everyone should get on our level, yet that is ever rarely the case.
This Full Moon in Virgo may feel like a slap in the face for those of us who are brought to the stark reality of our shortcomings. Being cold and dry, Virgo is one of the barren signs of the zodiac. With the Moon, our emotional core, being fully illuminated in Virgo, a factual and abrupt sign, there is little soothing or comforting to be felt when presented with reality. Note that the Moon is more powerful at night in Virgo because it is the nighttime triplicity ruler of the sign; therefore, it is more comfortable when able to discretely operate in the shadows without fear of criticism. Thus, you may encounter more will and motivation to work on your projects (personal, work, or otherwise) at night or in isolation during this period. Notice that Virgo’s ruler Mercury is both in detriment and fall in Pisces, currently opposite the Moon at 27°. With the dispositor stressed and challenged, any planet in Virgo right now must listen carefully to the messages it receives so as not to misinterpret or misconstrue facts. Additionally, Pluto is in Capricorn, trine the Moon and opposite Cancer, the Moon’s native home, so there’s bound to be powerful changes and transformations attached to this Full Moon in Virgo. This is sharp energy that will likely feel confrontational, but also inspirational in that doors will seem open and options available due to the mutable nature of Virgo. Furthermore, the Moon is also opposite Chiron which is currently conjunct the Sun in Pisces. Thus, the Moon is pulling on Chiron’s energy, which harbors areas of our lives in which we’re perpetually wounded or plagued. So close to the Sun at the present moment, this may be a common theme for recent dealings and experiences you’ve been having. Gut feelings are important during and around this transit, as Virgo rules the lower abdomen and intestines and the Moon our stomachs. Pay attention to your physical and mental reactions during this Full Moon in Virgo. Good luck!
